Here am I today with an update of what God just gave me on the AFC and NFC championship games. There is something about the favor of God, and there is something special that happens when you give God glory. I saw 10:33pm right before typing for this scripture: "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." (Zechariah 4:6) It is always important to give God the glory, and honor. We come this far by faith. It was beautiful when I saw Chase Keenum from the Minnesota Vikings give God the praise after winning the game, and saying that giving his life to Christ was the best thing. Our Father loves that. Then Stefon Diggs also gave God the glory after they won. However, I was told the coach commented after that game ..we were supposed to win cause we were the good guys. I had a water cooler conversation about that one. That was a bold statement.
When God is up to something, even as we say when God is up to something good, we have to watch what we say and do. Just as easy as things come for the favored ones of God, things can become a challenge. God is Almighty. Let no man boast in himself. Jeremiah 9:23 says "Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches:". It was a discussion that could be why the score was the way it was. Aikman commented during the game that was the 1st time in history it's been big 1st downs, big hits. What a game. God showed me 23 and 55 for the Vikings that said they had the favor of God on them to win if they wanted it, and played for it. The Pittsburgh Steelers also had 23, 55 and other numbers I saw for many weeks during the playoff season. I posted earlier about Shazier and that he had something to do with favor. What happened I saw was that the favor had not left, but there is one key that even we as believers have to always remember. Faith without works is dead. James 2:14 says "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?". It came down to defense. They had to be on there "P's" and "Q's" (my lingo) during that game. Do you know I still saw 55 and 23 for them after the game had been over! That let me know that God's favor had never left them. Being that I had seen this for many weeks.. who knows how far they would have gone, even to win the Super Bowl. Here we are, the Philadelphia Eagles. Minutes before they won the NFC championship game, I saw 55 in the 255k tweets for #FlyEaglesFly tag. Abundant favor. Nick Foles, the fill in quarterback for the Eagles gave God the glory and said God gave him the chance to be there. Could be why I saw 55, abundant favor minutes before the game was over. I was watching the press conference a few minutes or so ago, and he repeated giving God the glory once again. Hmm. I went to tweet about the game, and I saw 33 in the 332k tweets for the #FlyEaglesFly tag, which is also fresh revelation, expect nearness of God's presence.
